FK Skopje is newcomer in first division and I must say they are solid team. Their main task is to avoid relegation. This is the worst season in the history for Vardar. After the former president Trifun Kostovski withdraw from Vardar, the situation in the club became critical. Vardar is without sponsor, which means Vardar is without money. Because of that all the best players left the team. Only youngsters stayed in Vardar and that is why vardar is second from bottom, with massive 9 points behind FK Skopje. For this match coach Todorovski will be without key midfielder Siljanovski and key defender Dzangarovski. Another important player Pandovski is doubtful. It will be very hard for Vardar to reach positive result here.
Hard game
I expect a hard game at Stadium Avtokomanda in Skopje. Both teams are from Skopje and it is some kind of derby. Vardar is big name in Macedonian football, but this Vardar is just a shadow from the old Vardar. I decide to take Under 2.5 goals as I don`t expect some good performance from both teams. As I already wrote FK Skopje scored just 11 goals in 16 rounds. Vardar is little better, 12 scored goals. But there is something else which is crucial for my pick - the weather conditions. While the Western Europe is under snow, it is raining the whole night here in Macedonia. the pitch in Avtokomanda will be extremely bad and I think Under 2.5 goals is very, very possible. Vardar will defend in order to stay unbeaten, and FK Skopje is poor in attack. So, Under 2.5 is the best solution for this match.
