VVV Venlo has won the most points in home games, while in away games VVV performs much worse. Interesting however, is that all won home matches were against teams that are lower in the table than VVV, except for the match against Heracles somewhere near the start of the competition. With these statistics it`s not likely that they will beat Utrecht at home. Furthermore, VVV has 2 new important injuries: Uchebo and Viana.
Utrecht under pressure
FC Utrecht played a poor match against NEC last weekend but they managed to win by a goal late in the match (1-0). Coach Du Chatinier told the team was under pressure because Heracles, AZ and NAC already won the day before. This weekend Utrecht won`t have that problem. With a few players returning from injuries and suspensions, Utrecht with travel with some more confidence to Venlo with the knowledge that Heracles and NAC have difficult matches.
Win for Utrecht
I already mentioned that VVV only managed to win against weaker teams: ADO Den Haag,Sparta, Willem II, RKC, Heerenveen and Vitesse. Only the victory against Heracles was a team higher on the table. With the missings from VVV I believe that Utrecht should be able to win at VVV, or at least manage a draw.
