Vitesse is in desperate need for a win. The last 7 matches weren`t won (3 draws and 4 losses). The problem in the last matches is that Vitesse plays poor in ball posession, it looks like they don`t know what to do when in ball posession and so they can`t seem to produce a decent attack. On the other hand Vitesse has only 4 clean sheets this season, and obviously a lot of goals were conceded so far: 46. For this match Vitesse is only still without Molhoek, while Kaya is still doubtfull.
Also must win for Heerenveen
Heerenveen has only 2 points more than Vitesse, so it`s just as important for Heerenveen as it is for Vitesse to win this match. Heerenveen lost big against AZ last weekend with 4-1. It was the first match for new goalie Timmer after a long time. So the problems for Heerenveen are about the same as for Vitesse, conceding too much goals. Besides the regular goalies there are no real injury problems for Heerenveen.

So which team wins makes a big step in the rankings. All teams are pretty close at the bottom, so the team that wins is doing themselves a good favour to avoid playoffs for relegation at the end of the regular season. I can`t really predict a winner here. Vitesse has the home advantage, while Heerenveen has a the team that is slightly in better shape at the moment. However, I do expect some goals. Both teams won`t settle for less than a win here. Both teams are overish in the last few matches, so my pick here is over 2.5.
