Trabzonspor has been on a good run lately. They are gathering points and slowly climbing near the top. However as the condition of Trabzon Avni Aker stadium is bad, they will have to play in Istanbul Olimpic stadium. This stadium is notoriously known for its awful wind which stops players from playing their own games. They played against Belediyespor in the midweek in this stadium and drew 1-1 with a late goal. They dont have any important missings before this game.
Visitors are in danger
Manisaspor hasn`t been able to win a single game for weeks and eventually they made changes and the manager was sacked. Under new manager Reha Kapsal, they played their first game in the midweek and managed to beat Denizlispor 4-1. Trabzonspor game will be Kapsal`s first league game with Manisaspor. Manisaspor has quality players and they sometimes can play good defensive football and i believe they will try to get the advantage of bad conditions of olimpic stadium.
Trabzonspor should win
Trabzonspor is one of my favourite teams for the last couple of weeks because of their good form and i believe they should be able to win against Manisaspor too. However this may not be very easy. Manisaspor managed to limit Fenerbahçe and Galatsaray to low scoring games and i dont see any reason why they can not do it against Trabzonspor too. I expect tough game between two athletic teams and therefore i go for under 2.5 goals.
