Nobody understands how Atletico has been recording such horrible results despite having such a powerful squad. They’re currently at the 18th spot, which currently leads them to Spanish Segunda. Of course, it’s almost impossible for that to be the case, so very quickly their form should rise to a much higher level. Everybody in the club is happy with Aguero’s statement he won’t leave the club this winter as well as he is ready and wants to stay and help them during this very bad season. That of course affected all the players in a positive way and made them work even harder, and will hopefully be recording better results too.
Very poor
Espanyol is in a very bad form. They haven’t recorded a win in the last 6 games now, while everybody is very concerned by the fact they have a hard time even reaching the opponent’s goal. They usually don’t have much of a role on the road, so it is believed they will be an easy prey in Madrid. However, they won’t travel to the Spanish Capital with the white flag up, but will keep their heads high and try to surprise the hosts and record a positive result. They’re aware nobody gives them much of a chance in Madrid, but it’s always much easier to give up before even trying. They surely have reasons to stay positive and we have to respect that.
End of the hosts` black series
Atletico is without a dilemma the more quality side than their visitors, who don’t seem too strong this season. It’s about time the hosts end their black series and I will fully support them before this match. The times of negative surprise by Atletico are over, and it’s about time we see one of their convincing win, which everybody expects to see ever since the season has started.
