After all the problems they’ve had in the last season, Valencia has been simply shining this year. They’re playing very good, and their main players are surely Silva and Villa, as Valencia would be a totally different team without 2 of them. It could be said “the Bats” are unsatisfied with their home performances, as they won modest 9 points far. They’ve been doing much better on the road, so they will have to quickly improve their home results. With a win here, they would keep it close with Barcelona and Real, who are playing the well-known El Classico this weekend.
Horrible on the road
Mallorca seemed pretty bad in the preseason and I was afraid they would be main relegation candidates this season. But, they started the regular season pretty well and pleasantly surprised me. Now, they are maintaining their form and that’s been giving them some decent results. However, as good as they might be at home, that’s how bad they’re on the road, having won only 2 pts there. After all the pale performances outside their stadium, I really see no way how Mallorca’s players could surprise Valencia on Mestalla.
Visitors are without a chance
I give Mallorca very slim chances in their visit to Valencia. “The Bats” have been playing extremely well and thus I’m forced to give them a huge advantage at this match. The odds are quite nice and very realistic after everything’s been taken into account. Valencia is the more quality side and I expect them to justify the role of favorites here.
