The weakest next to Villareal
Malaga is, together with Villareal, by far the worst team in Primera this season. That wasn’t expected after the first round, as coach Ramon Lopez Muni’s players crushed Atletico Madrid at home by 3:0. After that they got knocked down with the poor results, as they only won one point in the next 6 rounds by drawing against Xerez. They’re aware this match is “to be or not to be” for them so they’ll do their best to record a positive result. Things in the club are additionally complicated after the defeat to Almeria in the last round at home, so we are yet to see how psychologically tough Malaga’s players are to handle this poor streak.

This is a “do or die” match for both sides. There will be a hard fight for sure.
