Based on last seasons form this is also a fascinating game to assess because Fulham were very strong at home last season while Everton need to bounce back after a poor display at home against Newcastle so the prospects of a very tight, competitive game are certainly high in this one. At home, Fulham have even more reason to feel confident, having lost only a very small number of times last season, and they kept that up this year, when pegging back Manchester United, who led them until very late. There is enough talent to net against the likes of Everton, who have looked very shaky so far this season. The scouse side failed to kill off Brentford in midweek, and paid the price for it. They will also be fatigued as the game went all the way to penalties. Fulham will look to the likes of Dempsey and Dembele to score the goals required to keep their unbeaten streak alive.
Need a winning
Everton lie 19th, and Moyes will have gone ballistic at his team then bowing out on penalties to lowly Brentford in the Carling Cup. It`s amazing to think this team has put themselves in such a mess when watching that game against Manchester United. Other than that 2 minutes, they`ve been very poor. Everton`s problem has been in their finishing. Again, other than that last 2 minutes against Man U, they have not put away their chances, but this looks a good opportunity to finally get their first away goal of the season. Cahill is back in the squad, and the northerners will also have the likes of Yakubu and Arteta. I can`t see them drawing a blank here again.
