Livorno started this season in the worst way possible but after Serse Cosmi was appointed as their head coach things started to change and Livorno started to play better and managed to get out of relegation zone for now. Serse Cosmi succeeded to inject the fighting spirit to his players but lately things have not been so bright for Livorno after losing to Napoli and Cagliari but they managed to surprise Milan last week at San Siro showing good game and composure. Not many had given chances to Livorno to take points from San Siro but in order to continue with good results they should forget that point and start focusing on next games. The great result at the moment keeps Livorno two points above the relegation zone but the fight for survival is yet to come. Livorno so far has achieved good results in front of their fans and surely will give Juventus a hard fight.
The agony continues
After sacking coach Ferrara a lot of fans thought that finally good results will come but we are still waiting for Juve to regain their form and start wining matches. They are in a horrible streak of bad results and if they continue like this they will fail to qualify for the Champions League and their season will be a total disaster. Juventu’s main goal of the season is reaching the Champions League but currently they are on fifth place four points behind Napoli who is showing really good football under Mazzari’s guidance and will be a hard task to catch them if Juventus continues to play like this. Last week against Lazio Juventus interrupted their losing streak with a draw and coach Zacceroni will be looking for his first win despite having all those injured and suspended players. Juventus is in a must win situation for the reasons I mentioned before but surely it will be a very hard task to break Livorno at Armando Picci stadium.
Tough match for both teams
It will be surely a tough match for both teams because both teams are in urgent need of points. Livorno is fighting against relegation while the Old Lady is fighting for CH.L. spot. I give more chances to Juventus tomorrow because they have better players than Livorno and sooner or later Juve will start to win again matches and I hope this will start from tomorrow’s match. Livorno’s biggest problem is the attack which is the worst in Seria A and for Lucarelli and co. will be a hard task to pass Juventus defense so an away win I expect. GL
