Most regards for that goes to one man and that man is Coach Guy Lacombe. Good news for him is that from the African Nations Cup are returning Jean-Jacques and Nicolas Nkoulou. Adriano, Costa and Coutadeur remain sidelined for some time while Eidur Gudjohnsen is near a transfer to Tottanham mainly because he didn’t adapt to Monaco and he didn’t score a goal in nine played matches. On the other hand Nene, Park and Alonso are ready to play and I think that Monaco with this team is ready to scatter guests from their field in tomorrows match.

Nice is in a really bad shape, so bad that I just wonder how do they manage to stay on the 16th place. They are lame as guest they have 5 defeats and one draw in the last 6 guest matches. Positive thing is that a few players are back from African Nations Cup but they need to go in the club routine after representative commitments. One thing is for sure that they are very out of shape. There are still problems with injuries: Gace, Quartey, Cid and Mabiala will remain for some time out off the field. I think that Nice does not have some great chances to win great team of Monaco on their field.

Home team is rowing wins and now they have three at home in a row, while on other side Nice has 7 defeats out of 10 matches, and they are waiting for a victory since November last year last year. Monaco has finally found an appropriate form and are now in the top of the standings, while Nice is on the border of the relegation zone.
