If you read all of our betting articles, you could see that we prefer singles. Betting accumulators have their advenatages and disadventages, and it is up to you to decide which type of online betting is better for you.

What are acumulator bets?

If you bet on singles, you are interested in outcome of only one game. When the game end you know if you loose or won. In acumulator bets you have more games on your betting slip, and outcome of all this game must match with your bet for you to win money.

Adventages

Main and the only adventage of acumulator bets is possibility to earn a lot of money. While with the singles you have to place big stake to win big, with acumulators you can win a lot with just 1$ stake, or even less. How? When you bet on acumualtors, as we said you are placing more then one game on your betting slip. Your winning is your stake multiply all the odds from the slip.
Let us see this on example:
We bet 3$ on this acumulator: Manchester United - Liverpool draw at 3.00
Real Madrid - Barcelona home win at 2.00
Lazio - Inter draw at 3.00
Possible winning is 3$*3.00*2.00*3.00=54$ (profit 51$)

As you can see possible winning is great since our stake is not very high. If we place 3 singles on this games and win all 3 we would earn 1$*3.00+1$*2.00+1$*3.00=8$ (profit 5$)
Difference is quite big, but risk is bigger too, since if only one of your outcomes fail, you will loose youre stake.

Disadventages

As we said in couple of articles, we prefer singles. Why is that? Simple, main disadventage with acumulators is that risk is verz high, and winnin possibility low. When you bet on singles you have 33% of chance to choose actual outcome. With every game in acumulator this percent is rapidly decrese. So, acumulator with 2 games, have 11% chance for winning, 3 games less then 4%, and so on.

When to bet acumulators?

Personaly, I like to place one small acumulator with 5 or 6 outcomes hoping that lady luck will look at me and credit my account with 1.000 or more USD, from 1$ stake. It can be great for fun. Since, couple of friends of mine and I have ritual every Saturday we like to place small bet on every England Premier game, and see who had done the best. Problem is that this can be just fun, and it is not something for serious punters. If you really want to get some from online betting, then you should forget on acumulators.
